Tips for Effortless Summer Entertaining

Summer is finally here, and at Early Settler, we believe your outdoor space should feel just as personal and inviting as the rest of your home. Whether you’re hosting a lively cocktail hour or enjoying a quiet moment with a good book, we’ve got some tips to help you create a fun and inviting atmosphere that’s uniquely yours.

Summer is finally here, and at Early Settler, we believe your outdoor space should feel just as personal and inviting as the rest of your home. Whether you're hosting a lively cocktail hour or enjoying a quiet moment with a good book, we've got some tips to help you create a fun and inviting atmosphere that's uniquely yours.

Create a Vibe that Speaks to You

We believe great design begins with a deep understanding of how people live. Our new outdoor collection embraces nature's palette with organic textures and earthy tones, but also offers vibrant colours and ocean-inspired hues to brighten your outdoor entertaining space.

Want to make your backyard pop? Our "Summer of Colour" collection brings a playful twist with joyful pops of pink and sun-kissed orange. For a more serene setting, "Natural Oasis" uses lush greens and organic timbers to create a grounded, tonal story. And to capture that classic coastal charm, our "Ocean-Inspired Design" features ocean blues, crisp whites, and classic stripes.

Choose the Right Furniture for Your Crew

Our designers have carefully considered every curve, finish, and feature. For compact balconies, the new Kace dining set in Rose Pink is perfect. It's part of our expanded Kace collection, crafted from galvanised, powder-coated steel that's designed to go the distance through sun and rain. For bigger family gatherings, our best-selling Santana table is all about effortless outdoor entertaining and hosting. Its seamless extension mechanism allows it to expand from 200cm to a generous 300cm in seconds, so no one gets left out.

Bring Indoor Comfort Outside

We're reimagining outdoor living with collections that blur the line between inside and out. Our Poppie sofas offer lounge-worthy comfort with moisture-resistant fabrics and deep, cushioned seating. This is about creating a space that feels as luxurious as your living room, but in the open air.

The Little Details Make a Big Difference

Our in-house design team has created exclusive cushions to perfectly complement the range. You won't find these prints and palettes anywhere else! Shop Outdoor Cushions.

Invest in Quality Pieces That Last

Our outdoor furniture range is the result of thoughtful design, material exploration, and a commitment to quality. Our reclaimed teak tables, salvaged from old buildings and jetties in Indonesia, are more than just furniture—they're legacy pieces built to last. Similarly, our Santana table is crafted from powder-coated aluminium to endure the elements with ease. This is about curating a lifestyle, not just buying furniture.

Find the Style that Feels Like Home

Creating your summer style is all about finding the aesthetic that feels most like home. From compact balconies to sprawling backyards, from cocktail hour to quiet time, Early Settler has a piece to suit every space, every moment and every style. We can't wait for you to explore what's new and create a home you love.
