The estimate above covers your whole order, so the latest item sets it. To receive the in-stock items sooner, place a separate order for them.

LED Bathroom Mirrors

now 30-40% off

An LED bathroom mirror puts light right where you get ready, so you're not relying on a single ceiling light that casts shadows across your face. Choose a shape and size that suits your vanity and wall, then check the lighting and connection details before you plan the install.

How to choose an LED bathroom mirror

Size it to your vanity

Start with the vanity below. A mirror that sits a little narrower than the vanity top usually looks balanced, and it leaves room for wall lights or a towel ring on either side. Over a double vanity, you can centre one wide mirror or hang a pair, one above each basin. Measure the height between the splashback and any overhead fittings as well, because taller shapes need more wall than you might expect.

Shape changes the feel of the room. Round and oval mirrors soften a bathroom full of tiles and straight joinery, while rectangles and arches look more structured.

Light, fog and controls

Colour temperature is worth a look. Warmer light, around 3,000K, feels relaxed in the evening. Cooler, whiter light between 4,000K and 6,000K is closer to daylight and easier for shaving or makeup. Some LED mirrors let you switch between settings, and some are dimmable.

A built-in demister helps clear steam after a hot shower, and a touch or sensor switch on the mirror makes the light easy to turn on. Features vary, so check the product details on each mirror. Keep in mind that an LED mirror lights your face rather than the whole room, so you'll still want ceiling or wall lighting for general light.

Planning the installation

LED mirrors are often hardwired to the bathroom's power supply rather than plugged in. In Australia, that connection needs to be done by a licensed electrician, so it pays to book one in early, especially if there's no cabling behind where the mirror will hang. The mirror's IP rating tells you how well it handles moisture, and your electrician can confirm where it can safely go.
