Rugs for Every Room - Comfort and Character from the Ground Up

Our range of floor rugs and runners is designed to balance comfort with visual appeal. Each piece combines quality materials and craftsmanship to deliver lasting beauty and performance.

Discover woven wool rugs for a soft, natural feel underfoot, jute and synthetic designs for an organic, textured look, and flat-weave cotton styles for lightweight versatility. With patterns ranging from traditional to modern, and colours from warm neutrals to bold statement tones, there’s a rug to suit every home and personality.

Use rugs to anchor your furniture, soften hard floors, or inject texture into minimalist spaces. From living rooms and bedrooms to hallways and dining areas, the right rug can completely transform the look and feel of your home.

Runners and Door Mats - Practical Elegance with Everyday Durability

For high-traffic areas, our runners and door mats offer both function and style. Crafted from durable natural fibres and designed with thoughtful detail, these pieces are perfect for entryways, corridors, and kitchens.

Choose hall runners to add warmth and continuity to long spaces, or use woven mats to protect your floors while adding a touch of charm at every doorway. Many of our designs feature subtle patterns and tactile finishes that pair effortlessly with Early Settler’s homewares, living, and dining collections.

This Black Friday, enjoy exclusive discounts across our entire rug and runner range, ideal for layering comfort and texture throughout your home.

How to Choose the Perfect Rug This Black Friday

When selecting a rug, start by considering the size and layout of your room. A large rug or extra large rug can define a space and anchor your furniture, while small rugs and medium rugs are perfect for adding warmth in specific zones.

Choose natural materials like jute or wool for longevity and texture, or blended fibres for durability in busy households. Neutral tones work well in most spaces, creating a soft, cohesive backdrop, while patterned rugs can introduce depth and contrast.

To ensure balance, leave at least 20 to 30 cm of visible floor around the edges of your rug. In dining areas, make sure your rug is large enough for chairs to sit comfortably on it when pulled out. In living rooms, extend the rug under at least the front legs of your sofa for a well-proportioned look.

Why Shop Black Friday Rugs at Early Settler
