Delivery & Shipping Delays
Due to the recent weather events across the country, we are experiencing significant delays in getting products & orders to multiple stores and regions across the country. Road and rail closures due to flooding being the main cause with expected delays anywhere from a few days to several weeks in some instances.
The impacted regions as of 15th of November are,
- Perth (freight line between Melbourne and Adelaide closed until approx. 5th December due to damage caused by a train derailment)
- Regional NSW (Dubbo, Orange, Tamworth, Wagga Wagga)
- Central & Northern QLD Stores (Cairns to Hervey Bay) – Rail and Road impacts
- Regional VIC (Mildura)
The situation around closures and reopening of roads and rail is constantly evolving and solutions to minimise impacts to our customers and stores are currently being worked by our team. We are also expecting once the situation stabilises, that there will be congestion due to backlogs so there may be some further delays which unfortunately will be unavoidable.
